With my clinical experience primarily in the pre-kindergarten and elementary age range, I am driven to embed therapy into play. Â
Connecting with families to determine their goals for their child is our top priority. Research shows that the way parents interact with their children directly impacts language development.
Wee sprout is all about how we, as parents, can be the caretakers to our little “sprouts”, and water and sow the seeds of communication and holistic development.
We will partner with parents and provide new strategies along the therapy journey, to help your child’s communication skills grow.
Our goal is to help parents feel confident and empowered in supporting their child’s speech and language development at home for years to come.
I am passionate about making connections with children and watching them learn, change and grow.
Using a relaxed, play-based approach, functional speech sound and language skills are targeted in a way that is fun for children and easy for parents to replicate and practice at home.
Outside of work, you will find me outdoors exploring with my husband, our two daughters and our golden retriever. We take full advantage of our 4 beautiful seasons and love travelling throughout Alberta whenever we get the chance.
